About
Software and research since 2019
Modeling Cooperation is an independent group of software engineers and researchers. The collaboration began with Jonas Emanuel Müller, Vasily Kuznetsov, and Miles Tidmarsh in 2019, following their participation in the AI Safety Camp.
It has since grown into a broader effort spanning software and research to help AI governance researchers and policymakers understand the dynamics of AI competition. We are fiscally sponsored by Convergence Analysis, and our work has been supported by grants from the Survival and Flourishing Fund, Foresight Institute, and EAF Fund.
